“The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body and polish the spirit.”
Morihei Ueshiba, founder of Aikido

Training

Our training practises are focused not only on promoting our spiritual growth, but also on improving our overall health and wellbeing. They include the following:

Ana-Apana-Sati (Buddha’s Breathing Meditation)

Ana-Apana-Sati Meditation is based on a combination of meditation and Zen abdominal breathing. When we practice Ana-Apana-Sati Meditation, we switch off our left brain and switch on our right brain. Our brainwave changes from Gamma/Beta (daytime stressful brainwaves) to Alpha/Theta (restful, healing brainwaves) leading us to to a very peaceful mind state.

“Om Namah Shivaya” is like nectar; feed everyone with this nectar.”
Babaji

Mantra and Sutra Chanting

Our Universe was created by Sacred Sound. All harmonious sounds of Mother Nature are based on constructive frequencies such as 432Hz, 528Hz; whereas in our day-to-day existence too often we are bombarded by destructive vibrations.
Mantras are pure-vibration Sacred Words and Sounds, and they adjust the frequency of all aspects of our being. When we practice Sacred Mantra chanting and sound meditation, we are able to realign with Universal Vibrations; this makes our life more smooth and our relationships more harmonious.

“By karma yoga, great things can be achieved. You can bring heaven down to earth. You can change the whole of creation.” Babaji

Karma Yoga

Yoga means unity between our ego-self and True-Self. In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the chief aim of karma yoga is to unite the human spirit with the Divine.
In our daily life, we offer all our labours to God and the Universe, freeing ourselves from the cycle of reincarnation. We offer karma yoga whilst chanting a Sacred Mantra “Om Namah Shivaya” (either aloud or in our mind – whichever is appropriate in the given situation).

“All the Great Ones who have come advanced through karma yoga.” Babaji

Peace Yoga

Through a combination of simple stretches and exercises, we look after ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually and prepare for further training practises.

Enlightenment Qigong – Energy Training

Qi (known also as prana, chi and ki) is the life-giving and life-sustaining energy that circulates within our body – and throughout the universe. Qigong is training to develop an awareness of Qi and to increase our Qi.
We train ourselves to become more sensitive to experience how Cosmic Qi works, because learning through the “micro-cosmos” of our body, we can feel and understand more easily how Qi works in the “macro-cosmos” – our Universe. Qigong training can lead the diligent student to manifestation of their True-Self.
Family Self-Therapy

Our family self-therapy practices are simple to perform and are extremely effective. They are based on Oriental therapy methods. Participators are generally quite amazed by the results, and they also enjoy the therapy very much!
