“Awakening is not changing who you are, but discarding
who you are not.”
Deepak Chopra

Awakening

Enlightenment Masters – and many advanced scientists – have taught that what we perceive as reality is in fact illusion; just as we are fully immersed in any dream we may experience when sleeping, it is only when we awaken that we realise "it was only a dream".

To awaken to our True-Self – our essential nature, which is far beyond the limitations of existence in this physical world – we train ourselves to quieten the mind through meditation practises, karma yoga and the chanting of Sacred Mantra.

Enlightenment Discipline and Purification

Our Enlightenment practises are also designed to take us beyond our small “village mind”, where we identify ourselves in relation to our family, our job etc, into a sphere of awareness that is global – or galactic!
The key to transforming our lives is to be truly aware of who we really are; and the key to transforming our world is to transform ourselves.

Our essence is a “Divine Diamond”, but unfortunately in most human beings it is covered by the dirt of our karma and negativity, accumulated over many lifetimes. Without cleaning up our karmic dust and negativity and without
polishing our diamond through Enlightenment Discipline, we can’t show our diamond’s essence – our shiny True-Self.
We learn simple and effective techniques through which we can identify our negative characteristics and habits and purify them. Purification of our karma – all our lower energy and negativity – is essential before we can manifest our True-Self (achieve “Buddhahood” or “Christhood”) and it goes hand-in-hand with shifting our consciousness.

“All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark.”
Swami Vivekananda
